Spring Flea Market
Saturday April 28 – 9 am-1:30 pm.
This is our 7thSpring Flea Market and we have raised over $16,400 to date. There are many benefits from holding this type of event –we get to clean house, enjoy fellowship, volunteering and raising funds which is mostly generated from the community.
It is a very worthwhile fundraiser. In order for it to be successful we need many hands to help (men, women & teens), so please put this date on your calendar as the place to be, making this event your priority.
Help will be needed from Tuesday, April 24th 7:30 pm on.
However, in the meantime please ask your family and friends for donations of gently used, clean items and, if relevant, in working order. We do not want T.V.s or big furniture. Donations can be brought in during the week of April 23 until Friday, April 27 1 pm (the cut off time) and placed neatly on the stage or, if child related, to the Fellowship Lounge.
Adelaide is accepting jewelry donations now so it can be sorted, packaged and priced.
There will also be a bake table featuring pies, bread and a cafeteria with sandwiches, chili, hot dogs and desserts. Please speak to Adelaide if you can help with any of the food.
We therefore need MANY PEOPLE TO VOLUNTEER time and energy to make this event a success so please consider making this major fundraiser your priority helping with the preparation of the sale and on the day of – we can only have a successful fundraiser if YOU HELP however you are able!
Here is what we need to make this a success:
- baking for the Bake table
- food – sandwiches, chili, desserts for cafeteria (speak to Adelaide)
- many VOLUNTEERS – men, women, & teens – sign up sheet in the narthex (from Tuesday evening to Saturday 3 PM including clean up time)
- People to take signs to place in strategic locations on Thursday & Friday as well as on Saturday on car windshields at various locations.
Please speak to Adelaide at 905-812-9483 or via email (jajtapscott
