    Land Acknowledgement

    Long before there was a church on this land, Indigenous people were living, loving, and building beloved community. These peoples include the Wendat, the Haudenosaunee, the Anishanaabe, and especially the Mississaugas of the Credit, who continue to be our partners in Treaty 19. We also know that people of many First Nations, Metis, and Inuit backgrounds live in the Greater Toronto area, and we seek to learn from and honour our Indigenous neighbours.
