Showing the former Methodist Chapel, originally located on Maiden Lane, attached at rear and used as a classroom after the current Queen St. sanctuary was built in 1875-76. The “chapel” building was finally demolished in 1939 when the front part of the building was moved to Queen St. (to become the Streetsville Hydro building — now the core of a new commercial development in 2002) and replaced by the current Russell Langmaid school.
