I hope that you will find it an informative and interesting source of information about our church and its activities. Besides our weekly worship which generally includes contemporary and traditional elements, we offer a variety of programs for learning, serving and fellowship for all ages, including children and youth. Christian music has an important role in our church’s worship and activities.
We like to think of our church as being “Anchored in God’s Word and moving into God’s future.” We seek to be a Christ-centred community of faith rooted and grounded in the Bible as we embrace the present-day challenges and opportunities God brings to us. We seek to be a hope-filled community, knowing that the future belongs to God and that his promises and purposes will be fulfilled. We also seek to be a compassionate community showing forth the love of God in our church, as well as in the local community and the wider world. I have been the minister of Streetsville United Church since 2000 and count it a privilege to preach and teach the Good News of Jesus Christ, to minister to this congregation, and to help strengthen Christian community and witness in the Streetsville area.
